Romania vs Ukraine: Moment of reckoning

The International Court of Justice (ICJ) at the Hague will announce a verdict tomorrow in the case of Romania and Ukraine concerning the delimitation of the Black Sea region’s continental plateau, which has lasted for more than four years. In case ICJ decides in favor of Romania, the disputed plateau’s resources would ensure Romania 20 years of energy independence.
